Sun Yue, aka Rockie or Else (pen names) is music critic, project manager and promoter with an focus on north European and British music.

Introduction

a born Beijing-girl who now lives in Copenhagen, Danmark. She is oversea reporter for diverse Chinese music media, she blogs about Danish music and nordic related cultural events and also conducts live music projects for ROSA/Danmark and others.

Journalistic Activities

Freelancing journalist and oversea report for diverse Chn. music media, such as Painkiller Magazine (since 2004), doing interviews, reviews and live reports (e.g. Wacken Open Air 2008, 2010, 2011, Download Festival 2005, Sweden Rock Festival 2006, Roskilde Festival 2009 etc.). She also has been to Tuska Open Air 2010 invited by Cultural department of Finnish Foreign Affairs.


Blogging

Danish Music in China is a project under ROSA Danmark/Jazz Danmark/Music Export Denmark to introduce Dansih Music to the Chinese readership. Sun Yue is Editor in Chief for all it's different plattforms. (see links at the bottom)

Allnordic.com is a newly launched website with an overall focus on cultural events in China related to all north European countries. Sun Yue is assigned to be Editor.


Events and Projects

ROSA

Sun Yue has been assisting different live music projects by ROSA, taking care of some practical traveling matters for bands to go to China. Now she is also assigned to be Project Manager for coming soon tour projects.

Others

Sun Yue is also helping Painkiller Productions and Icon Prmotion on coordinative and communicative tasks with diverse live music projects with European Bands.
